ephervex import

Import a modpack into a client instance, from a file or an address

Usage and options

Import a modpack into a client instance, from a file or an address

Usage: ephervex import [OPTIONS] <ARCHIVE_OR_URL>

Arguments:
<ARCHIVE_OR_URL>
The pack archive, as a file or as an https address.

The format is detected from its contents, not its name: a `.mrpack` renamed to `.zip` still imports. An address is downloaded first, and Ephervex asks before it downloads from a host for the first time.

Options:
--json
Emit machine-readable JSON where the command supports it

--name <NAME>
The instance's name. Defaults to the pack's own name

--temporary
Store under the OS temporary directory (the default)

--persistent
Store under the persistent instance root

--inspect
Read the pack and report what importing it would do, without importing.

This reports optional files and planned changes before any instance is written.

--optional <PATH>
Take this optional file, by its path inside the game directory.

Repeatable. Optional files are off by default unless selected explicitly.

--all-optional
Take every optional file the pack offers

--trust <SCOPE>
Agree to download from this address without being asked.

Only meaningful when the pack is named by an address. Without it, an address whose host has not been agreed to before prompts, and refuses when there is no terminal to prompt on.

Possible values:
- once: Download from it this once, and ask again next time
- always: Download from it and remember the host, so the next import from the same site asks nothing

-h, --help
Print help (see a summary with '-h')
